Shoot moly in barrel, only. Or, don't shoot moly at all.

Some of the shooters in this area believe shooting some moly bullets here and again impregnates moly into the bore which just makes life a lil easier on the barrel as you go,if you plan to keep your velocity up youll need to bump the powder charge a lil bit..............

Read around about bore prep and maintenance with moly. I would say that Miss Moly requires a little "commitment" if you want her to put out.
I use the stuff, it saves me elbow grease in my varminters and target rifles. I even load it for my "not so much" rifles, the issue there being that moly is hygroscopic and will pull moisture out of the atmosphere. Not a big deal in the inland West, but if I lived in Florida or whatnot, barrel rusting might be a real problem.
For a box of free bullets, in retrospect I would not bother. But I am happy with moly-plated bullets and will probably stick with it.

I just tumbled some Hornady 50 gr VMax that I got a good buy on. Does tumbling in media do a good enough job? They look good.
