Didn't Marlin make a lever gun in 7-30 Waters? I have a 7-30 single shot pistol and would love to find a rifle to go with it. Has anyone ever seen this rifle or shot one?

No. I have read several threads about 336's which have been re-barreled to 7-30 but have never seen a picture. I have seen several pictures of 336's barreled for the 25-35.

Other than the Win 94 the only other 7-30 rifles are T/C Contender Carbines or a very few barrels made for the TCR 83/87. It makes a great round out of either. The original 7-30 was a Marlin 336 and years after Ken Waters had a Savage 99 30-30 rebuilt. I would love to have one but you would have to convince Marlin to get 7mm barrels, good luck on that.

I just posted over at "Marlin Talk" about trying to find an OEM 336C barrel chambered in 7-30 Waters. Where??
