Gonna go Turkey Hunting this weekend, and do some fishing.
Heck, if I get me my gobbler early (Yah right!), I might have enough time left over to attempt coyote calling once more.

Anyhows, it'll be my first time turkey hunting, so I don't fully expect to be coming home with meat.
But I am mainly excited about being out in the wilderness anyways, not the bird.

Should be a nice weekend indeed...

The best of times don't always mean a kill, but it do help!

Speaking of shooting carp. Used spend a lot of time down at Wawawai (sp?) park on the Snake sticking arrows in 'em.

Loads of fun!

Well, it's snowing like crazy here and the forecasters are talking about anywhere from 10" to 30" by tomorrow afternoon. So much for turkey season around here!!!!!

Good luck!

Go out and put the turkeys to bed the night before. It will greatly increase your chances.

Testing my feeble memory: From Central Ferry, go upriver on the Snake past the lower granite dam towards Lewiston/Clarkston. It's not far past the dam on the North side where the road comes off the breaks and then parallels it heading to Lewiston.

It's been about 17 years since I've been down there, but the carp shooting was pretty good. I graduated from WSU in Pullman and spent waaaaaaay too much time chasing critters down along the river (grin).
