I've sold off all my reloading equipment, and I'm left with a supply of pistol primers to sell. Note Midway and many others are sold out of these!

1. 1,000 Winchester No. WSP Small Pistol Primers (standard)
Retail - $26.00

2. 600 CCI #300 Large Pistol Primers (standard)
Retail - $18.60

3. 700 CCI #350 Large Pistol MAGNUM Primers
Retail - $21.70

4. 600 CCI #550 Small Pistol MAGNUM Primers
Retail - $16.20

Total Retail Value - $82.50

Will take - $65.00 for all.
(PayPal preferred - no personal checks, please.)

Prefer to sell them as a block instead of separately, if possible. You pay the shipping, which should be approx. $10 via UPS Ground to most addresses in the U. S.)

Thanks!

Mike

Thanks, but I'm confused ... I shipped several hundred rounds of live ammo to a guy a few weeks ago and UPS didn't charge me any extra. I even told the UPS dude it was live ammo and had the box labeled as such, along with the haz label!

Maybe I got a rookie, but the primers are sold now and if I get tagged with it, I'll just eat it. A deal's a deal.

Thanks again for the heads up.

Mike

Shipping primed cases or loaded ammo does NOT require the HazMat fee, but does require that you label the box ORM-D.

Shipping primers or powder as components DOES require a HazMat fee as well as possibly having to jump through some other hoops - specifically, there are some particular packaging requirements for shipping these items.

It's worse than most have stated; now $22.50/package, and only certified shippers (approved via UPS software) can ship HazMat.

If one wanted to "comply", and pay the extra $$$, no can do, unless you know a friendly business willing to be your shipper.

I was surprised Gunbroker does not have a caveat on their sellers of primers/powders (stating the HazMat requirement)...maybe ignorance is bliss for some sellers.

I don't agree with the DOT-mandated rule, or the shippers high fees (just what are we paying for??), but it's here to stay.

Thanks for posting that. You obviously have a more complete understanding and/or more intimate knowledge of the HazMat situation than I do, or most others here, I suspect.

I have been trying to get this point across but have been met with quite a bit of resistance.
