My liberal friends in the Wash.,D.C./Northrn Virginia area detest him. That's enough for me to listen frequently. Many forget that he's an entertainer. While some meaningful information is discussed, first & foremost its to gain & keep listeners to his show. Controversy breeds discussion & then people tune in to either agree or disagree.

No. They describe Rush as an entertainer to lessen his impact.....it ain't working. And it doesn't work when libs pretend to be something else.....they become obvious.

He does both. Without question though, Limbaugh is a leader of the Conservative party. I know you can't be referring to the Republican party? Where is the "Conservative Party"? I Have to good a memory, I guess. Rush Limbaugh has always reminded me of HUBERT HUMPRY from the 60's. He sure ain't a Republican (thank goodness). He does make a lot of sense from time to time. The best humorous has to be Ann Coulter, in my opinion.

bender.....that's pretty much the realization I came to a while back. Even though I have to turn him off when he gets too far out on the self adoration kick he is prone to, he still represents my thoughts more often than not. Rush isn't popular because so many conservatives agree with him. He's popular because he agrees with so many conservatives. I don't listen to hear how I should think, I listen most often to hear my thoughts expressed by a great orator. I believe most, but not all, his listeners have a similar attitude. In this way Rush is actually the Ditto-Head, not us. But I'm not sure he'll ever be convinced of this. Sure he pushed the Republicrat party in the last election but as the lesser of two evils. I don't think we will see him carrying water for this soiled party again. Certainly he had to use most of the bucketfull to wash that bad taste out of his mouth after promoting McCain.

I'll have to make a point to listen for free cause even the 6$ goes against my principle of not paying somebody to hear him talk.

Rush Limbaugh is an extremely intelligent and sincere man. Rush is a GREAT AMERICAN who definitely informs!
As already pointed out, Rush is a TRUE conservative, and not necessarily republican. Being conservative is far better than being republican.
Rush is soooo entertaining when he speaks, some lose sight of the fact that the information he is sharing is 100% right!!!!!

he is mainly entertainment, he has a few good points but it gets old shortly since he just keeps going over and over the samethings day after day on the radio...................
