What would you recommend? THis would include everthing needed for a begginer. I have no reloading shops in the area, so I am looking at cabelas and the other online companies to buy the kit.

as for the powders and such, hopefully the S. Wharehouse thats like 3 hours away will remain open and have a adequate selection.

I'd consider either one of these:

I lean towards the Lyman kit because it comes with a rotory case trimmer w/pilots. Been using my Lyman equipment for 25+yrs. It's good equipment.

This is a good start but you will forever upgrade. This is if you want to load for a rifle. Pistol would be a different route. If I'm not mistaken you can load anything but a 50 on this. Cabelas carries these kit, also.

I bought the Rockchucker Supreme kit and am NOT the slightest bit sorry. Add dies and calipers and you're good to go. As for dies, I like the Redding dies better than the RCBS dies. Their adjustment screws are much easier in my opinion.

As for powders, good luck!! I was able to find what I needed at Bruno's and Powder Valley online. Again, good luck with that.

Walmart in my neck of the woods has the Rock Chucker Supreme kit for $269. I had someone that works there pick mine up so I got an additional 10% off.

I might have to give my walmart another look. My walmart is very seasonal based when it comes to sporting goods.
