As an aside, I feel the young men and women joining up today are as patriotic as ever, at least the ones I know.

Don't forget about Ruby Ridge and Waco. In both cases, the FBI did the shooting under their rules of engagement. And there were children involved in both cases. And Janet Reno was the boss. Do you suppose that she was any more moral than is Eric Holder?

I respect and honor Steelhead's service to this country and am not asking the question to tweak any noses. I do think it is a relevant "What If", given the signals from the White House and the Hill. I also pray "it" doesn't hit the fan. We are far too weakened by a "pants down...bend over" administration and are ripe for another and much bigger nine one one.

Bristoe, I really appreciate your way of looking at things simply. I too, share that trait. I think that you don't really appreciate the fact that the guys that you berate don't benifit from the wisdom that you have achieved. What would you suggest that our armed serviced do, follow orders unless they don't like them? The problem is in the ORDERS.

I'm good with that. Were you ever 18? These kids that join the military just want to do good. They trust their leaders. They don't care if they die for our counrty. They are true PATRIOTS.
