I have been offered a Walther P99 in trade and I do not know what they are worth or if they are good shooters what issues they have if any. I am a big fan of the Walther PPK but I know absolutely nothing about the P99.I have herd bad things about the Walther P22.
The one that I have been offered is about 98 % and a 9mm
Thanks

Tackdriven I have one ,purchased it about 2 weeks ago, mainly to carry off duty , so far I like it .it's lighter than my glock.
I like the grip a lot better ,shoots good but I do have to watch my trigger finger when shooting if I get it to far into the trigger guard it rubs the side on my finger on the clip release and could be irritating if done to much. The double action is a long pull but the rest of the clip is single action shooting and the trigger pull is certainly shorter.
Finding holsters could be a problem unless they are the type that fit several different pistols.
I do like it so far and do not regret purchasing it and it does have Night sights and is the black and grey model.

TackDriven, I have the S&W 99 which is the same as Walther.I'm very pleased so far. navarro1 is also correct in finding holsters. I like a paddle type, and the only thing that I could find was a Bianchi in leather. Course, that's not all bad! memtb

The Walther P99 is a fine pistol. The AS version is the best IMO. I have the AS and QA. The AS will bring a premium. The QA acts just like a Glock but the Glock has a little better trigger. The AS trigger takes some getting used to, but is superior to the Glock or just about any other striker fire pistol.

As far as holsters, I am using a Uncle Mikes Sidekick size 15 which fits it well.

The S&W99 is not really the same thing. S&W made the barrel and slide for the SW99 and it has had some issues the Walther doesn't have.

Great pistols. Accurate and comfortable to shoot.
