Thanks for the update. I'll have to give him a ring.

BTW: You are the man if you can even hang in the same universe with Lance................. Good job.

Hell, I wasn't anywhere near hanging with Lance. That dude was so far in front of me it wasn't even funny!!!! He truly is unbelievable, his endurance engine is off the friggin charts!!

I will say, all this cycling will surely help when I finally pull my Bighorn sheep tag!!!

Absolutley beautiful. (The rifle, not you. wink ) That's exactly how I've been picturing what I want. It's funny to think of upgrading a Sako but I think you did a great job.

Funny story about cycling. My friend is an avid cyclist (does triathalon) and was touring Europe on a bike one summer. He got to meet some guys on the Postal Team, but not Lance. They invited him on a "high gear" ride the next day. The team was only using their high gears, peddling like mad and not going very far. My friend thought he would be able to keep up since he would be using his normal gearing and they weren't going "far". By the end of the ride my friend said he could barely move and the Postal team barely looked winded and were going back out again that evening. The really sad part is they said Lance could smoke them all.

Poot...very nice rig..Karl does fine work

I don't always venture out into the sub-freezing darkness, but when I do, it is deer hunting season, and I carry a Remington. Stay hungry my friends.

Poot,

AWESOME rifle, in an equally awesome chambering. From where I sit, the 300 WSM is the very best of the wsm's.
Feed it well... grin

Will do. I am trying a few different powders and bullet combos at the moment and it shows great promise. 168 tsx's and H4350 are looking really good......I will let you know what it likes!!

Poot-the rifle looks nice, but to me what is even better is the work outs you'r getting and the shape you'e staying in for when you get to the hill.
