It will be interesting to see what the range was for the shots...I can't imagine the skinnies would have let the USS Bainbridge approach with in about 500 yards...

This was done right at or after dark because there is a seven or eight hour difference in time where this happened. Could have been pulled off with night vision optics at close range from in the water via one of our seal teams

Wonderful news indeed. God bless the Navy Seals and other Navy personnel who brought this incident to a close. This must not be the close. We need to follow up with devastation on the Somali coast. All we taught the skinnnies is that they now need to be less careless with hostages. It was the only lesson out of all this, unless we follow through as necessary. Don't get me wrong; I couldn't be happier for Phillips. Now he's safe, turn the Navy and Marines loose on the Somali ports.
