Was in a local shop today. They have a Savage 99 in 25-35, SN: 84,3XX. Less than 60%, No checkering, crescent butt, schnaeble fore end. Looked like a 24 inch bbl. Price 950. Is not that a little high?

b sure to scrutinize the bore's in the 25 cal.'s...lots were poorly maintained.

That is how it looks to me. I told the clerk to run a patch thru it so one could tell about condition.
