Alex shot this 30" bull Oryx this afternoon on an Off-Range Oryx hunt. Since she shot it with a 7mm-.08, that makes it a little girl's gun (she is eight). By the way, that is my three year old in the background with a Daisy pellet rifle that has been rendered inoperable...

Clearly, the 7-08 is for little girls, then . . . . BMT

Great accomplishment for an eight year old!!
How about some more details. What was she shooting? Does she pratice a lot? Load? Where did she aim and hit? How's Dad??
What's next?
I really like the idea of the little guy carrying his red rider. That's a great way to make him feel like he's really part of the hunt.
Good job and be very proud of those two.

Very cool. I love my 7-08. Prefer it to .308, ironically <g>.
Headed off to go shoot it at long range right now, in fact.
The CENTER will hold.

really cool....let's see big pics.
I was afraid when I saw the thread title this was a new venue for the long running 7-08/.308 "who's a girly man?" thread

That is awesome. Good for both of them. Did you install a high quality pad on the 7-08?

At 6'4" and 300 pounds (plenty capable of shooting the bang'aroos), I have discovered that the "little girl guns" are easily the most fun to shoot!!! Tell her I said, "Good job kiddo!"
