I just heard the Brittany Boddington had an accident shooting a Leopard off a tracker? Has anyone heard anything about this??
If true,I hope everyone is OK...Bad thing for a young hunter to go thru....

When you hunt game that will try to eat you ,sometimes people get hurt. I feel sorry for the poor girl because this could happen to anyone under the same circumstances.

At least she shot. There have been men who have literally frozen while a tracker or PH was being mauled to death! Hope she doesn't quit hunting.

Not something to make fun of, It could happen to any one of us in the same situation. A man was mauled and shot in a hunting accident that was tragic. A young hunter had to make a quick decision in a stressful situation with a life in the balance. She will have to live with that decision the rest of her life.
I hope he recovers completely and quickly. Darn lucky to be alive.

Awful, simply awful. Good thing he wasn't killed. I knew a guy who shot his son accidentally while goose hunting, and killed him. He was a great guy -- and the last I saw of him, he was basically self-confined to a chair in his house, rocking back and forth, saying "I killed my son...I killed my son."
Best wishes and heartfelt prayers to everybody involved. That type of thing will shake even the most hardened person.

Those that make 'fun' of these trackers,apparently have never experienced Africa,never followed them,learn from them and probably never will.
I did not make my opening post of this for it to become garbage as some postings have become lately.This situation is not something to make 'lite' of.This was to pass along information of a hunting accident with a young lady that has chosen to share the fields with us....

That is terrible to hear. I always turn my 14 yr old daughter's attention to the accomplishments of Craig's daughter. Very sad that this will indeed be jumped upon by those envious of Boddington. Heaven knows I am at times  .
