I have a Ruger No. 3 that I customized with walnut and a superb med 26" heavy barrel in 338 wm (basically I turned it into a no 1) and have been studying load data to see what advantage a 338 wm might have, anyone else worked up loads using match bullets for long range shooting? Its expensive and hard on the shoulder for benchresting but I'm thinking there is a niche for this caliber, certainly going to buck the wind well, I've seen one interesting load using 180 gr using nosler ballistic tips at 3300 fps that I want to try, anyone else?

It would be a good one, if accuracy is consistently sub-moa.
