I'm going to give him a chance to get the rifle to me.
There may be a simple reasonable reason for the delay. Giving him the benefit of the doubt.
But, he needs to contact me.

If he can get online here, he can answer your PMs. The very least he could do is keep in contact. I have had situations in which the shipment of a gun has been delayed. As long as there is a good reason and good communication, then no problem. There is no excuse for this kind of crap. It is happening way too often for my liking. I hope you get the rifle or your money back without calling the police.

But, when I saw his posts on here for the last couple of days it became clear that he was avoiding me. Don't know why he would avoid me. He has the money and the FFL. I even added $25 to the cost to cover the extra shipping to AK, without him asking for it. I have left voice-mails, e-mails, and PMs. The ball's in his court.

we have lot of campfire members in CA, someone may need to make a house call for you. If it was in Louisiana, I would be all on top of it for you.

Personally I wouldnt screw with it. Contact the ATF and the police chief in the town where he lives. If you paid by USPS money order it is another federal crime as well.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

If you paid by USPS money order it is another federal crime as well. WRONG. USPS will only give you the status of one of their money orders, there is absolutely NO additional security tied to use of one.
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum. I do tend to fit in well wherever I go in person. The campfire is the most outside exposure I get. No TV, no newspaper.

Hey Guys, One of my friends bought a real nice rifle from Kevin. The communication could have been better but the rifle was better than advertised. I am sure you will get your gun from him. Thanks Del

This is BS. At the best it is sorryness, lazyness, unprofessionalness. It is more likely fraud and theft.

I have his phone number and his home address. I'm trying to do the right thing here. I think I've been patient. Hopefully he'll respond and it will be resolved quickly.
And, maybe there's a logical explanation for the delay. If there is I'll be the first to apologize for the uproar.
