Finally got all of the parts to complete my rifle. Jim Wisner did the action work and front sight, front swivel, extractor, and three position safety. Ray Price barreled it and did the stockwork.

I could own one like that! Outstanding, although just barely marginal for squirrels in the birdfeeder. You will most likely have to use heavy for caliber bullets to get any penetration.

I have had absolutely nothing to do with the building of it, but I am really excited about this rifle. I have the brass and bullets, but have yet to order the dies. I hope to get on that this week some time. I think I will start out with a velocity or about 2100 and work up from there.

That is a beautiful rifle. I am afraid I have no use for a gun of such size but still, it is beautiful. Nice job.

The rifle is a BRNO ZKK 602. Ray Price installed the barrel and quarter rib and built the stock.
Jim Wisner did all of the internal stuff to make the rifle work with the 505 Gibbs (it holds three down plus one up the spout). He installed an extractor, three postion safety, wedding band swivel and the front sight. All of which he manufactures.
I haven't done any engraving as it is just now finished to the point that I can work on it.
Any ideas as far as scroll type and animal(s) I should put on it? I'm thinking small scroll and a large gold animal.

If they were lined up right, "some" would be the appropriate word. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I think you need to do a squirrel on a birdfeeder. In keeping with caliber, you should probably make it a large squirrel! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I can understand about the squirrels, but why would you want to vaporize a perfectly good birdfeeder?
