As long as your gun likes them & they've done the job that's all tjhat really matters. For the distances you mentioned I actually prefer a heavier for caliber bullet vs a lighter. Simply no need for improving trajectory on shots under 200 yards really and less MV doesn't hurt anything in such situations either.
Now if your asking b/c the groups aren't great thats different and would suggest trying 165grs for comparison sake. My 308's have always shot 150 & 165 bullets better then 180's. However I'll add that I do expect longer shots where both trajectory and MOA do help.
