I was at the range south of town playing with a couple toys and when I headed home, I drove through some wooded buttes. On the highway were 3 hens and over 20 chicks. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> I slowed, but they weren't about to become road kill! Last I saw of them, they were beating feet into some cedars.
I know it's a common occurence, but they were the first of the new hatch I've seen and it sure did my heart good to see 'em! Now if only the Tom I shot was responsible for some of them! SW
