I own a Model 71 Winchester that I will take moose hunting this fall. I bought through Cabela's two boxes of Buffalo Bore cartridges in 348 Winchester for this rifle. Buffalo Bore lists the 348 bullets as J.F.N. Bonded. I want the pill to be able to penetrate the mooses heavy shoulder bone, if I hit high. Is J.F.N. Bonded what I want?
God, grant me the senility to forget the guns I never liked, the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eyesight to know the difference.

If I'm not mistaken JFN means "jacketed flat nose" and it's a bonded bullet as well. If that be the case it should be more than enough bullet to whack Bullwinkle with!
