..can you reel in some of that cold-azzed weather you've been leaking down into the Midwest for the last two freakin' months?? I've never seen a spring that's had such consistent winds from the NW and yesterday (a first) I literally fired up the wood stove!! The 6th of June, and I had a fire going, fer chrissakes... Temp here never got above 49F yesterday! I like cool weather but when winter coats are necessary in June it's time to rant...

mad

You've been noticing the warming trends too, huh. I've only had to mow the lawn twice this spring. Been frost several mornings the last couple weeks.

Lousy cold weather! I've had the garden tilled and ready to plant for a least a month now. Only about 30% planted at this point.
Funny how it can be so cold here and have the polar (North) ice cap melting away, so they say. (yeah right)

My furnace just kicked on as I'm typing this. 48* right now. Might see 70* by Thursday. This has been the coldest spring I can ever recall.

Unseasonably cool here in north Neb.

We've had a few unseasonably hot days, too, but overall we've been really cool and really dry.

Yep.. Wood stove hot again yesterday.. Temp never got above 50F...

Last time I remember a year like this it was '72; only difference was it rained part of EVERY day in '72.. Even the ducks had mold on their butts that year...

Frost here on 5/30 and 6/2.. I don't see any major changes until next weekend.. At least it's raining now, thank God.. Been dryer than Melba toast here until last Saturday..
