Cool rifle.
I need a weight room rifle.
Whaddaya shoot in you weight room? A Nautilus or two?
I figger you need the heavier bullets to penetrate the steel plates? OR AP?

I can like it. Weaver makes good stuff. Larue is pricey, but worth every penny......

I should have bought one of those, instead of the M1 tank 2.5-10x50 Weaver I bought from Natchez, now the 1.5-4.5's are gone.

I took your advice Mack and I'm not disappointed. I've been using it at work for training and let some pards handle it too. Favorable reports all around.

Onr never knows when a tactical ninja will jump out of the wood work. Wouldn't want to be caught empty handed while benching.

I am glad you are satisfied. I recieved a call yesterday from an individual asking about optics for medium range rifle work. After he described his intended uses and his budget, I suggested another Weaver. I have been consistantly happy with their products.

I used an ARMS #2 to mount the Weaver Classic extreme 1.5-4.5X on my Bushmaster. The scope is a real stand out. If you choose to use the illuminated reticle, it will function in bright daylight as a red dot sight. Shoot with both eyes wide open. This will by the rifle I take deer hunting this fall, and I will use my 64 grain Winchester handloads.

Nice combination, there. What's the going price on that scope?I'm in the market for another scope for the same reasons. Found some info. Scope is discontinued by mfg. but still in the pipeline: http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=795900

... and just why is it, that just when the cognescenti judge a product worthy, it is discontinued? Should have started a list years ago...

Onr never knows when a tactical ninja will jump out of the wood work. Wouldn't want to be caught empty handed while benching. Very True. I am thinking of building "Gym Gun" based upon the BAR Platform. I expect to use it both as a defensive weapon and a free weight . . . . BMT
