2 1/2 years old and he's shooting? I mean you no disrespect, but I think this is the kind of post that anti-gun nuts just love to get themselves worked up over.
Please be careful. I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to your son, or you for that matter.

I've taught my son about guns and gun safety since he was born..He was taught to treat even his play nerf guns as if they were real. Don't get me wrong I don't just give him a gun and let him go..I sit him in my lap an hold the gun. He jsut looks throught the scope and pulls the trigger..Will edit post though..

For a plain jane, walmart is your best bet. I think ours sells it for $112. I looked for almost 6 months for ours. Good luck in your search.

GOOD on you !!!!!!!!!!!! I did the same thing basically. My son and daughter have ALWAYS been involved with me and my guns. I have NEVER had the slghtest inkling of fear or concern. My son shot his very first target and 2 1/2 years old. A clay pigeon at about 20 feet. It shattered. I picked up the pieces and glued it back together. I still have it to this day and my son is going on 29. He now has kids of his own and is teaching them. Hell, I used to bring my gun to school so I could go hunting after school. In those days we could store our guns in our own lockers. We could fish before school and put our trout in the teacher's refridgerator. Congratulations on taking such a fine approach on firearms, children, and education. That's the key!!!!!!!!!!!!!
