While living in Pittsburgh Pa. I had it pretty nice as far as gunclubs go, although the range was only 100 yrds. it only cost $90 for the initiation fee and the dues were $75 per year. Down here in Cumming Georgia I live in a beutiful home and I really like the area. Once I land a job all should be peachy except for a place to shoot. The only range I have come across is a place called Riverbend Gun Club. There isn't even a public range that is under 60 miles away. They have everything imaginable including a 600 yr. range. The initiation fee is $600 and the dues are $300 per year. I guess I am at the mercy of the situation. But $900 to start is a lot of scratch!!!

$50 a year. 500yd rifle range, 100yd pistol range, skeet and trap. Whats best is there is almost no one there on weekdays and it's rare to have to share the rifle range with anyone.

$20/year or $50 for three. $10 junior. We have a two house trap range, archery range, and a pretty basic clubhouse. Fun-type archery and trap leagues, plus 4-H Shooting Sports and hunter safety courses use the facilities for free. We share the city range with law enforcement, 100 yards and the club maintains a bench. It's a use any time on your own arrangement.

On April 20th the wife and I decided to do this move. That very night I put up a thread on the deer hunting here in Ga. Shortly after did the same about Gun Clubs. The gentlemen that hooked me up with my realtor and mortgage agent I met through a aquaintance that is a tech at Sierra bullets. He belongs to Riverbend and having lived here for 20 odd years or so does no know of any other clubs!

$110 per year. It's a nice set up but only a 200 yd. range and you can't shoot steel targets.

$75 initiation fee $199 a year, includes a 400 yard rifle range and a pistol range. Right now the rifle range is rundown and we are rebuilding the rifle berms. The fees are for all family members.

300.00 Initiation and 300.00 dues. We have 10 skeet fields, two trap fields, 50, 100, and 200 yd rifle ranges, 25 yd pistol range and eight IPSC bays. We have a pretty decent clubhouse and several ponds full of bucketmouths too! Most of the time during the week, you will have the place to yourself! This really isn't bad for this area and just minutes from town........ 1D

The 3 choices I have are...
1. Shoot at the house. 2. A public range that has rifle of 100/200/300 and pistol range + steel target range for rimfire and a gun shop they charge $6/day includes all day and you can leave/come back etc.. 3. Private range which has 100/200/300 yard rifle, 2 lighted pistol ranges, skeet and trap course for $75/year + $50 first time fee and you get a key.
Otto is my co-pilot.

Steve:
I do miss the Tri County Gun Club. It's a great place to shoot and its surprising that it has lasted as long as it has considering the residential encroachment over the years.

$155 initiation fee plus $165 per year if you do an 8 hour work bond (help/work around the range). The annual fee goes to $275 per year if you don't complete the work bond.
100 yard pistol range and rifle range(s) out to 550 yards.

my range is about 30 miles away, but I drive about 3,500 miles a month, so that's not a big deal any way you slice it. Anyway, to the point, it cost me $200 the first year to join, and $150 each year after that ... it's got a 50yd pistol range, 100yd sight-in and rimfire silly-wet range, and a 600yd line with berms at 200, 300 and 500yds ... the target area is a 'match' style double-berm deal with the target stands that raise the targets up and down.
I find it very reasonable all things considered, and my only complaint is that we can ONLY shoot paper ... we are surrounded by cattle fields, so we are not allowed to shoot anything that might cause ricochet ... but since it's the ONLY range around that has a longer shooting area than 100yds, I can't complain.
