Thinking about pulling the trigger on a McM for my 700 ADL .30-06 I got as a youth rifle buy. youth stock is gone already, bought the McM from Clay to try but that doesn't float my boat so I will be posting that on the classifieds. Am thinking Classic or MR handle, in either GAP or Campfire Camo. The rifle is the matte black ADL. Thoughts? any pics of matte black with the GAP or campfire?

Here's GAP camo w/Matte Black. Here's a Pic showing both GAP and Campfire camo. These 2 are not my rifles, they belong to shootone IIRC.

Here's a pic of GAP Camo with an all stainless setup ... And here's Jamison with one of his 'lopes, and an LTR dropped into a Campfire Camo stock. Should add that Jamison is the guy who 'invented' the Campfire Camo pattern ... should also add, that you'll notice a little hole in the forehead of Jamison's buck ... He was 575yds away when that hole was so kindly put there by Jamison ...

That's a sharp looking rifle. 700 Classic barreled action? If you're referring to mine, yep, here are the details... Older model (no prefix) Remington 700 LA with a PacNor No. 1 contour chambered in 280AI, 1:9" twist and finished at 23". I sprayed it with Matte Black Duracoat. Redneck aka Lee Christianson did the barrel/chamber work.

Here is a Campfire that didn't come out as well as most I see here. The camo looks like it has brush marks in it. the other side is far worse. It works though and I didn't buy it for it's beauty . I would probably get the GAP if I had it to do over again. Terry

Reckon if you could see all of them up close, it'd reveal the same thing as yours, just maybe not to that extent.
No worries anyway, it is what it is, and, still a pretty cool thang.

Agreed. My 280AI above doesn't look near as good as the camo job on my 7WSM (rifle with the SS barreled action above). The other side of my 280AI almost looks like flowers. Here's another picture for comparison...
