Here is a couple pictures I said I would post of the XL22LRPP bullet I recovered from the back side of my 2x2 Pine leg brace on my metal gong hanger. It was just hanging out the back side of the wood by a thread. It was shot from 230 yards, and no I wasn't aiming for the wood brace, but it sure gives a person an idea of the expansion of these 40 grain power point hollow points.

That is exactly the kind of expansion I get with those shooting squirrels, sage rats, etc... with them. Makes body parts fly in all directions.
Accuracy is pretty outstanding also in my rifles.

I don't recall ever recovering a hollow point (I know not at this
230 yard range), that maintained as much mass and expansion as
this round did. Widest exp. 1/2" - narrowest exp. 5/16"...

I figure it was moving at around 920 to 930 fps on impact.

Here is a picture of the bullet below the exit hole. When I picked the bullet from this hole it was just setting there held by a sliver of wood. Note how the bullet aligns with the top the exit hole.
