I still own a 2004 Nissan Titan XE with the off road package. Plan on keeping it for many years to come. Paid $21,500 with 3900 miles and 3 months from title early spring 2005. Stickered for $32,000. It would have cost me mid to upper 30's at the time to buy a Toyota. At the time we owned a Camry. My advice, go with the good deal.

Something is not right about that video. In the 1st segment you can clearly see all 4 wheels on the trucks. The front wheels on the Tundra never spin. I suspect it was not in 4X4. If it is there is something seriously wrong with the truck. The other segments do not show enough to say.
Most people don't really want the truth.
They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.

I saw a movie where only the military and the police had guns. It was called Schindler's List.

The only Titan I know of is a new one, and all I know about it is it gets 15mpg. I would buy the Titan, and when Obama gives all these owners of gasguzzlers a check for $4,000 to buy more efficient rigs, then you could use the $4,000 to buy a Tundra, and have a good truck.

That said I would take a Ford over either and if GM wasn't going thru the difficulties a Silverado wouldn't be bad either. Both are roomier trucks with better gas mileage Roomier? You obviously have never been inside of a new Tundra. Chevy might get better mileage by 1 mpg with their 5.4 truck, but they have to go up to the 6.0 to come close to the power and speed of Tundra and then their mileage plummets. 2009 Ford claims 21 mpg, but that is with a very under-powered 4.6 single cab. My double cab Tundra gets 19.5 mpg with a 5.7 that has more power than I'll ever need.

Tundra has a little button on dash that turns off the limited slip. they obviously did not use this, b/c only one wheel is pulling and everytime it spins for a second, it quits. The chevy also clearly has better tires.
