Guided Hunt Details:

Our guided hunts take place on four farms. We take four hunters for each season. We do not place more than two hunters on the same farm at one time. The properties are all timber, agricultural fields, and food plots. We hunt from elevated box blinds and ladder stands.

Clients are responsible for tags and license ($334.25 1st season, $284.25 muzzleloader only), food, and lodging. Clients typically stay at the Quail Creek Country Club.

Lathrop & Sons provide transportation to and from stand sites, a guide to accompany you during your hunt, stands/blinds, and recovery and field-dressing of game.

I will provide the details of the self-guided hunts soon.

Semi-Guided Hunt Details:

Hunt will take place on a 120 acre farm called the "Baker Bottoms". The farm is all timber and CRP surrounded by neighboring agricultural fields.

The price is $1,000 per person and groups of two, maximum of three, are required.

Clients are responsible for tags, licenses ($434.25 archery, $334.25 firearm, $284.25 muzzleloader), transportation, food, game care, stands/blinds, and stand/blind placement.

Lathrop & Sons will provide lodging (equipped with showers, separate bedrooms, satellite TV), an aerial photograph, and a tour of the property boundaries.

Clients are urged to arrive a day early to place stands (we will give advice as to where to place stands).

NOTE:

Today, June 30th, is the final day to apply for an Illinois Archery permit! Get on the ball if you would like to come and hunt.
