Any comments where the RCBS A-2 fits this discussion?

Cool press smile

Last I heard, if you break your A2, RCBS will replace it with an RC, 'cause they don't make parts for the A2 anymore.

Is the Hornady Lock and Load classic kit a good one?

I like free bullets smile

You need to call it. I can't call it for you.

Yeah, sure it is. I wish it was cast iron instead of alum alloy but it's over built so it's plenty strong enough for any common reloading chores. And the "free" bullets make it a very good deal.

Hope I got things alright...

Sounds like you did the right thing. I have one of Lee's less expensive cast aluminum O presses, a predecessor to the classic cast, and thought I'd need a new one when I bought it 10 yrs ago. Here and am and it is still going strong, though a couple of under lubed cases have cost me a linkage or two.

I can't share others' opinions of Lee customer service. They've always been perfectly helpful.

I like about a foot to my right, and I'm right handed.

I'd looked at the Redding Big Boss II which is on sale this month through Midway, but I'll put that into better dies (Forster BR sets) and get the Lee Cast also. I'd like to be able to set 'em up for a couple stages for the same caliber to work a little faster.

Good buy there!
