The little information I've heard from a gentleman (Sako Club)is that it was the importer (Garcia) idea that never came about. Why I am asking is that the Sako's Serial # 10720 matches that time frame and came with a stock that has no cheek piece (maybe 900 built that way). One reference that I've found says it has a 4 shot staggered mag (I know that the newer Finnwolf's had 3 shot). Mine has flush staggered mag but without loading (no ammo) its hard to tell. Mine also is stamped as a VL63 (ergo its a VL63 I guess). If anyone has any further information I would be interested in hearing it.
