anyone draw this tag for this fall. Right now i'm hunting solo with 15 days blocked out for the tag. Might consider another fanatic in camp that has the tag.

Gees Baltz I wish we could hook up I would go with you good luck, I didn't draw a tag. Now if you were BT hunting we could share a hunt.
If there is any proof of a man in a hunt it is not whether he killed a deer or elk but how he hunted it.

i'll be scouting the silvies unit next month, with lucky guy. (he drew the late cow tag) for a future deer hunt. we may be able to meet for that in a future draw. next year it looks like blacktail. But i may do idaho general tag.

still looking, with the limited tag numbers not a lot of people hunting this tag. I'll have a wall tent set up WAY out back

Baltz,
just spent 6 weeks at a Boy Scout Camp 30 miles SW of L.A. Pines there...had to take a few scouts into town to the clinic there...
and of course hit the local Bi Mart...
Haven't draw a tag for Whitehorse for quite a while...
have drawn there twice in the past...
I sure loved every minute although the deer were scarce...
but it sure was a great 'open spaces' place to hunt...
daydreamed about what the good old days of mule deer hunting must have been like..
between there and the Snake River Canyon, they have been my two favorite places to hunt here in Oregon...

hope you got to do some hiking out of cresent lake. some great country around there. i have found some interesting stuff out in the forest S/W of the BS camp. old WWII training refuse. field built radio antenna, camp locations. just some great country. I might get the high cascade deer tag next year. 60rd is boundry
