I was looking for a decent scope to get me by or just wait and get something better in a couple of months. I found the Sightron S1 3-9x40 for $69 online and it looked like a deal that I couldn't pass up. Even if I upgrade later I would have this around for an extra.
I searched and didn't find much in the recent past, what is the opinions on these. Is it worth this price, I have never even seen a Sightron in person and have nothing to go on.
Thanks Nick

Sightron generally is excellent glass. Not a fan of the SIs, but if you can't go any higher on the price, it's better than what you're going to get otherwise.

Thaks VA, by the way I decided on the Witness Elite Match 9mm, I guess I am just attracted to the underdog but it has my curiosity.

I put an SI 3x9 on a .300 Win Mag for elk. I think it's a nice scope, and modestly priced. Elk didn't like it much.
