FWIW, I just bought a German 1909 in about mint condition. Been drilled and tapped but otherwise unaltered. I paid $225. You can probably run across one cheaper if you look long enough, but you'd never find a nicer one, and it was what I was looking for at the time and the same price I recently sold a Mexican 1936 action for. I wouldn't have paid nearly as much for an Argentine-made one, as I had my eye out for a DWM. I've seen the bottom metal alone sell for $150.
