Would that be the 75th anniversary edition? I don't know what that gun is worth but the 3-9x Leupold itself in good shape is worth $200.

you buying or selling?
Rifle is worth 2-300...scope the same.
400 for the git-up. No sense over-paying for mediocrity.

I picked a similar setup about a couple of years ago. Paid $400 for the deal, stripped off the leupold scope, leupold base and rings. Had it in my house for the weekend and sold it without the scope, base and rings for the same price. Not really a fan of the commemoratives.

I wouldn't say junk, but compared to the earlier savage no where near the quality. I just had a problem with the design and calling it an 1895 with the caliber and stock configuration. Not my style with all of the gold.

Isn't the 75 Comm. the last of the lever safety's?
That makes it the last of the good ones.
A nice set of wood on one,and I'd take it to the woods.

One of the last lever safety's along with the E. I just can't get over the gold sight, lever and butt plate. Too flashy for this fellow.

I forgot about that shiney hiney stuff. I'd have to be rid of that too. My point being, that if you gave it a new dress...it would'nt be a bad date.

All of the Comms make great camp guns.

They are very useful as boat anchors, pry bars, emergency sledge hammers, etc.,etc.,etc. crazy
