That is a really nice rifle. Thanks for sharing.

Have ya shot her yet?

I'm a big fan of the 7-08, a great do it all cartridge, especially with today's selection of 7mm projectiles.

Oh ya, the rifle looks great!

No Eddie, Im still waiting Superior to send ammo. I dont reload, so went the sample pack way. Had a couple members pm me and ask to send my rifle to find a load, but I think Larry at Superior is getting Ammo out today. He said he has been super busy lately.

Hopefully I will find a load he sends & if not, the rifle will go to member "YUKONAL" to play with & find a recipe.

Sounds good, I bet one of the Superior loads will shoot for you, they make good stuff. Take Care!

Wow, nice rig.

That's a nice size (contour) barrel for that finished weight. Does the barrel to light stock combination make it handle a little wonky?

Just wondering how she handles off hand - steady - balance wise.

Congrats on a fine build.

I just cannot understand guys building hotrod rifles, yet they don't handload.

I wanted a custom rifle built for me, 100% American made each part {and know who made it}.

Oh, and 1 more reason why I built it and don't handload???

BECAUSE I CAN!

Im having someone build me loads {superior}. May not be as good, but better than buying boxes from the wallmart shelf Ive been told.

The stock is not as light as an Edge so it is balanced very nice with the #3-22" and Swarovski scope on it. I really like the Manners stock. It fits perfect for me.

Seems Ted Nugent must like it also...

I would say some people like shooting more then they do loading. I can get 308win and 300win match ammo, if I could get ammo loaded with a bullet I want for a reasonable price for my other guns, there is no way in hell I would be reloading. I couldn't care less about the difference between a gun that averages 1.25MOA and one that averages 1MOA. I'm about the shooting...

Charles, check out the 6.5 Creedmoor, 120 and 140 amaxs around 20-24 bucks a box - Hornady, accurate on paper and deer lethal. Now find you a rifle wink For more dough, the 6mmBR and 6.5x47Lapua are also in factory ammo form, but available factory ammo must be imported if you want the Lapua.

Slg888, if I had to relegate my shooting to factory ammo, my 6.5s and 6mmBR would be sold and replaced with an all out custom 7/08, or the very least, a Sako. You did well.

I have been thinking about a Creed although I can't justify it since it doesn't really offer any advantage over the 243's I currently have.
