Cast - I spent some time in Oregon many years ago - flyfished the Metolius (sp?) and the Deschutes. Beautiful rivers and wonderful fishing. Very true, but heavily fished in the "easy" or "known" spots. Jut like hunting, if they gotta walk a mile, its pretty easy going. But, some hot spots are right on the frickin' road--so we don't disclose those. BMT

Whip; you gettin' the rain up there? Krapp, I'm startin' to grow gills here, won't need a flyrod pretty soon, I'll be able to catch them like an otter.... Stream flows are way high for this time of year...I'm ready for fall! Ingwe

Looks to be raining all day, and that's a good thing for the land. I'm also ready for fall...less about fishing, more about hunting. Don't worry though Ingwe, next week looks to be some good weather for fishing...streams will clear up. I haven't been getting any stream time lately; my own fault. Heading to Missoula tomorrow to check out the gun show. Hopefully I can find a nice Kahr for cc, and maybe some 5.56 ammo. One can never have enough ammo. Or guns.

Schitt, its overcast and breezy up here, not even a sprinkle yet. We could sure use some rain though. It should be under 100 degrees at work today, I actually put on a T-shirt with SLEEVES.
Tomorrow I'm taking my buddy Ed fly-fishing for his first time on the N Fork (and only his 2nd time ever.) Sunday and Monday I'm going to try out this creek fishing thing that O'Holy Wagonmaster keeps talking about.

The posterior of the one on the right is clearly a 7-08/162 A-max, AND it is clearly superior. Posting my load on either of those two wouldn't be much of an imposition.

Funny, I never was a Yankee fan until now...I can appreciate with enthusiasm the return to the original subject of this thread. I think, we can say without reservation, the load has been posted. But that's not any reason at all to let this thread die...
