If you're trimming the length and doing a full case resize rather than just neck sizing, the finished case should fit either. If factory rounds fit both, but cases fired in the Savage won't fit into the Tika after resizing then it sounds as though you have a problem with your dies. Savage chamber is probably just larger than the Tika, but resizing the case should get it small enough.
Can you tell where on the case it's seizing up when trying to insert into the Tika?

Every rifle is an individual. If you are neck sizing or partial FL resizing you will need to completely FL resize the cases. If you are already FL resizing as far as you can, you can smoke a cartrige and chamber it into the tika. When you remove the cartrige, the soot will be rubbed off where the cartrige is stopping in the chamber. If it's stopping at the shoulder you can grind a few thousands off of the shell holder, allowing the die to push the shoulder back a little more. If it's at the base of the body of the cartrige you can buy a small base resizing die. These dies resize closer to the base of the cartrige like factory ammo is. The other option is to seperate you brass, one for the tika and one for the savage. Your brass will last a lot longer this way. Hope this helps.
