A gunshop long gone here used to have an old video tape playing with old, mostly black and white footage of guys like Bill Jordan and Ed Mcgivern showing thier skills.

I think it was called "Fast and Fancy Shooters" or Shooting, or something like that.

Anyone know where to get one. I'd love a copy.

Kind of spendy at Paladin but then the worth of something can't always be equated to the dollar cost. If you google the title a couple of other places list it as well.

Now that you got me looking on that web page...

Col. Rex Applegate's "Kill or Get Killed" is a classic on gunfighting and IMO is just as valuable today as when it was written. I learned how to point shoot a 1911 from that book.

That's the video I've been looking for. Thanks Jim.

Just a heads up....Mcgiverns book is among the hardest to read I've ever seen. I could read it in short bursts, but not cover to cover. Lots of useful info, just not very interesting.
I'll have to look into Applegate's book.
