Anyone running RL25 and 129/130 grain bullets in the .264WM? Hornady Sp or Accubond?

Any help appreciated.

Alright RL22 or IMR 4831 it is.

Planemech....I use RL 25 in my 264 , and my favorite load is 72 gr under a 120 gr Ballistic tip for 3400 fps(24 inch barrel) .

I have given it a try with 129 grainers and velocity was off a good 200 fps with top end loads . As best I can recall , I had to cut the charge good 2 or 3 grains less with the heavier bullet . RL25 did do as well as any powder tried with the 129 s , 3200 seems to be the top end in my rifle , no matter what powder is used .

As always , work up carefully.....

RL 25 was my main powder with 130 Swift S2's for 3,350.

Depending on a lot of factors 129/130s can do over 3,300 fps. I've only used RL25 in the 140s though, and it couldn't match the velocities of some of the other powders. Consider Winchester 780. I love it, I'm getting way better velocities with that powder. 66 grains is a seemingly safe, mild load that'll go 3250-3280 or so in my gun with 130 Accubonds.
