An Afghani (muslem) journalist quoted this to Obama's undersecretary of state for public affairs, Judith McHale when she said that the US wanted to build bridges of good will w/ Afghanistani muslems.

Well, evidently my opinion differs GREATLY from that of "the US".

Bridges make very nice arches through the sky, when viewed from a certain perspective. But I think the arches made by rockets fired in their direction would be much, much prettier.

I like bridges, gives a nice reference point. They stay on their side and we stay on our side. They try to cross and their movements are channelized and it makes for more effective air strikes and carpet bombing for us.

Yup. I think that is their true opinion of us. It has to be, based on how they act towards us.

In return, I would feel no regret, remorse or guilt if "we" wiped out every last one of "them." If there are "good" ones who don't deserve extinction, it is their fault for choosing to be one.

I'm not advocating killing them all.... I am advocating speaking truth to BS and then acting accordingly....

Lot's of muslims are eager to reject it but are then faced with death if they do so where islam has control... I feel for those caught in that sort of living Hell. Some sort of secure refuge status would be a nice idea... but I don't want them placed in positions where they could then blow off the hand that tries to protect them.

Muslims have an exclusivistic religion just like Christians.

Just as a Christian can not compromise his Christian principles a Muslim can not compromise his either. We will either become Muslim or kill them all. There is no other choice.

I don't agree. As an athiest I can deal with Christians. They don't go about lopping off heads or fingers.
I don't have to pay a tax as a non-Christian.
Christians won't kill me if I choose to leave the church.

Christians can at least tolerate the beliefs of others , muslims prove time and again that they cannot.

Yes and no. Saw a bunch of fellas from Kuwait perusing the skin rags at the PX. Asked one about how that jives with their faith and was told "The US is not a Muslim country, Allah can't see me here."

It was the 13th Waffen SS Division. Made up of Bosniaks. there was also the Albanian Skanderbeg 21st Waffen SS division. Muslim as well.
