I just bought an Ibex from Dan Miller at Horizontal Archery yesterday. Should be here at end of the week.

You'll be very happy with your new bow.
I picked up the Equinox last year, and killed an elk the first afternoon! ...of course after spending the morning sighting it in and practicing with it out to 50 yards, and ensuring that my broadheads were hitting where they needed to be.
Just remember to wax that string every 50 shots or so, and it will give you lots of enjoyment!
Accuracy with these bows is great! With a steady rest, I can shoot tight groups at 50 yards all day long. And remember to leave room for those limbs to move forward and out when you shoot.

I own a phoenix. Had a older exocet for 10 years. They are my favorite. The exocet is still in use somewhere.

I have an Exocet 200 and I love it. Very accurate and to use it more for hunting from my ground blind. My groups with the crossbow are about twice as small as I can shoot with my bow.

I have the excalibur and love it. I've taken several deer and 3 hogs with it. Unbelievable penetration on a nice boar right underneath my tree. Just don't forget to load the bolt when practicing. I dry fired mine by accident the first year I had it and about 6 months later I noticed the limbs cracking. Got new limbs and good as new. It's the best choice for a crossbow in my opinion. No wheels, no cables, just a string which you can change yourself. Also shoot short low profile broad heads like the wasp sst's. They seem to be the most accurate in my experience. Haven't shot many expandibles for fear of inersha openting them up when firing.?
