My desktop is in the shop and I can't send pics until Monday as we will not be in town this weekend. Will post photos and reply then. Randy

One thing I can say, and that is the Rem 700 Classic 250 Savage is a GREAT rifle. I bought one from a guy posting here, and the accuracy is excellent, along with low recoil, and good looks too. If I didn't currently have one, I'd be all over yours. Someone will be a happy guy after buying yours.

Not to butt in but I had a couple of the Classics and I believe it is 1-14". Just saying.

Nope, the Remington in 250 Sav comes with a 1:10 twist. Mine stabilizes bullets up to/including 120gr.

I stand corrected and submit that Mulerider is correct. I was thinking of the Classic in .22-250 for which I also owned. Should have kept my thoughts to myself. Free bump for correction and fine firearms.

The 700 Classics were 1-10" and will stabilize 117gr Partitions at 2750 out of this rifle.I also have dies and bullets for the 35 Whelen that I will include.

I and members of my ranching family have shot enough elk and deer with the 250 savage to believe it is a grand caliber although ours have always been in the Sav. 99 rifles. It kills beyond its balistic stats, mostly I believe because the bullets are going at a reasonalble velocity and they perform to perfection whereas faster 25 cal bullets tend to come apart..2800 FPS has always been a magical number in most calibers it seems to me.
