My $195.00 M&P #3260811 08/28/09

OP hunterdeneugene Campfire Member Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 186 WNY	I just picked it up. It has a 4 in barrel and it is bright and shiny. It appears to have a parkerized finish and when i pulled the ugly grips on it that were on it and put these on it that I picked up off gunbroker, I didn't notice any markings on it that would indicate it to be a government or lease model. It does have a laynard hole on it but it is not plugged. It doesn't have the flaming bomb on it. The serial number on it is 984727 with no prefix and is on the underside of the barrel, cylinder and bottom of the frame on the handle. Attached Images 285284406149[1].JPG (81.73 KB, 261 downloads) my son was doing a science project on whales and he asked "whats a blow-hole for" and i said "I'll tell you what it's not for, and when I do, you'll understanded why I'm banned for life from Sea World"!

I was told it should of shipped with a smooth set of walnut grips. OP hunterdeneugene Campfire Member Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 186 WNY	well got to the range today and shot it. 12 yards shooting Mag Tech 158 gr FMC 15 shots. What a joy it was to shoot it. The more I shoot it the better I will get. Not bad for the first time out though. I think i like the way it would have looked originally....
