What in the world was the designer of these thinking. 80x with a 25mm lens. Your exit pupil will be a nifty .3125 mm on 80x. Should be useful for looking at the sun maybe. Even on 20x I doubt these are real bright.

Then 80x handheld, boy somebody has hands lots steadier than mine. What could be the use of such binoculars?

And for less than $90, you know only high quality glass went into them right?

Has anyone had hands on these? Just curious, as they seem like they would border on useless.

If a guy had himself a pair of those and one of those custom "Big Stick" stocks, he'd be pretty much good to go to hunt anything, anywhere .... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
