Well... I have finally actually used my Lee Production pot 4. Cast about 200-300, 50 cal. Maxi-balls. Much better to use than the dipper and a pot on the propane burner. Being a lefty the dipper was a little bit of a pain, the Lee pot with the bottom pour is faster and seems to make better bullets as the mold stays hotter due to less time between pours. Sometime I'm gonna try casting for my .22 hornet, 308 and .38 pistol. I still need a .22 mold though.

Glad you are enjoying yourself coreloct. Be advised, the smaller the bullet the harder it is to cast good ones. So, if you get a lot of rejects casting 22 cal it isn't you it is just the nature of the beast. Just fur instance it is about ten times easier to cast good 58 cal minie balls as it is to cast 36 conicals for a Navy revolver.

Have fun

true how true!

Whatever you are willing to put up with, is exactly what you will have.

When your ship comes in. ... make sure you are willing to unload it.

PAYPAL, sucks and I will never use them again. I recommend you do the same.
