Guys, I need to find an extremely warm pair of mitten's. My Dad had carpel tnnul srgery on his this summer and the cold really effects them now. Well he wants to find some really really really good mittens before our Elk hunt and also that he can use this year Ice fishing. He needs to beable to curl his hands within the mitt so thats why he wants mittens and not gloves. I would appreciate any recomendations are things to look for on this. Heck i might just buy me a pair too.

DemonSTW,
I have used this stuff on several Alberta hunting adventures.
When most sane people would stay in by the fire. The price will floor you but it does work.

get a big pair of skidoo mitts and carry chemical handwarmers. last year at the heritage classic outdoor hockey game in Edmonton, my wife and I sat 20 rows from the top of commonwealth stadium for 61/2 hours in -26 degree weather and while I wouldn't say we were comfortable exactly, we managed to stay until the end.
The also won't cost $105.00

The military extreme cold weather mittens with the thick felt liner and shell with the snot wiper on the back are very warm.

The snot wiper is a very important part of this process.
