I used these rings in the past with great success and maybe its a little late to be asking a question like this but what is the proper way to attach these rings to the base, in other words, do you torque all 4 screws at once or do you torque the bottom scrwews first and then the tops? I usually do the bottom screws to 25lbs using the Warne wrench and then I torque the top screws to 25lbs.

Tighten the bottom screws with the top screws only lightly engaged in the threads. Then get your scope leveled and positioned for your ideal eye relief. Finish by tightening the top screws.

Not offhand. I've just been doing it by feel with the little wrench that comes in the package, trying not to overtighten.

Thanks Mathman, thats exactly what I do. I believe the torque is 25lbs which is what the Warne wrench is set at.

This wrench is pretty good if its actually set and consistent at 25 lbs, no way to tell. I usually give an extra little turn with the supplied wrench.
