The firing pin broke on my savage 110 30 06. How hard is it to replace? Or should I spend the money to have it done?

Ask here http://savageshooters.com/SavageForum/ You have to adjust the length IIRC.
Everything you now do is something you have chosen to do. Some people don't want to believe that. But if you're over age twenty-one, your life is what you're making of it. To change your life, you need to change your priorities.

It's easy enough, if you get the rear allen bolt to budge. I went through it and posted about it on the afore mentioned site. Also, on the Savage bolt guns the firing pin length is adjustable and to much length will pierce primers, to little will cause failure to fires.

I'm sure its the large one. The rifle is not real new. I have a stevens 110 parts gun, but the bolt wont fit, was wondering about pulling the pin out of it and putting it in the other gun.
