If the money is right, snap it up! You just don't see these offered for sale. It would be good trading stock if nothing else. My 1894CP is so cool, I will buy the 44 version when I see one. SW

what's up 'hogger, can you tell me what the CP stands for?[what makes it a CP?]I asked on one of my posts in M.O. if you'll excuse my curiosity, what is a hogger?Seems like I heard the term somewhere, maybe in Oklahoma where I learned my horse-shoeing?I know it had nothing to do with horseshoes though.thanks,Shootrj2003

RJ,
Lubbock Dave wins the cigar for CP. Hogger is one a them-there railroad expressions. - Means engineer. Yep, I'm a lowly railroad, red neck, gun nut, small town hick. By the Grace of God, I'll stay that way! I went to Chicago for my 'engineering' degree, and we had passes to take the Metra downtown on the weekends. It was depressing - ya had to look UP to see sky!! Heck, there was more people worked in one building than live in the western part of Nebr!! I been trying to participate here a little more since things are kind of up-in-the-air at MO. It looks like the owner has a belly full of all the squabbling on the lounge forum. I believe 90% of it would go away if 2 certain people were given the boot, but it's his site. Don't be too surprised if it ain't there someday soon. RJ,
No - I don't get out much. I see Evil Empire (UP) and BN coal trains and that's about it. When I lived in Tenn, I remember the Corinth & Counce RR because I did biz at the paper mills they serviced.
Oops! I got a little off topic!
Well, I sure like my Marlin 1894CP and hope to find a 1894P in 44 mag someone thinks kicks too much so I can get it cheep! SW
