These were tacked to the walls of the old camp to brighten things up.

Close enough! grin

bummer about the camp being sold. I know how you feel. My uncle sold his camp to pay for a wedding...I'll let that sink in for a minute, and then let you guess if they're still married. smile

We've got the remnants from some old feedmill calendars from the early 40's in our camp.

Don't need a cabin to post here. Just a love of the outdoors, family and friends.

No tar paper just wood planks. I have been told the the house is over 100 years old. No electricity or running water but it's warm and dry. There is another room and we can sleep 6. It's rough but I love going there. I'll be spending the first week of November there.

Great place. Take the El off and it reminds me of my grandfathers old homestead.

You know you're at "Huntin' Camp" when you can clean the guns on the kitchen table...especially blackpowder flintlocks!

Here's a few of my shack. It ain't much, but it's paid for.

The second pic is the back porch after I fixed up some rotten spots.

And the "killer condo" in the back field.

You Betcha, tzone. Actually, my youngest son will have it to himself for the opener. The oldest has to work and won't be up until Tuesday nite. I fixed up that back porch to try it on for my new stand. I've told the boys for ten years my goal was to hunt out the back door, now I'm gonna give it a try. Here's the view from the apple tree to the back of the shack.

Just out of curiosity, you didn't happen to see an old guy wearing a number 4 jersey anywhere, have you?

Great looking set up Big Tee. Welcome to the fire by the way. Always good to have another Wisconsinite here.

Thanks for the welcome Griz. I've been scopin this site out the last few days and it looked mighty inviting. It kind of reminds me of one I was on a few years ago from the U.P.
