I know that Natchez had a great sale on the Weaver Classic Extreme 1.5-4.5X24 that I missed.
Wondering what folks experience is with this scope on an AR?
I want to go to a low powered variable, so am curious as to how these perform.
Thanks

I bought one of the 2.5-10's for a bolt gun. When my brother law saw it he bought the 1.5-4.5 for his AR-15 and it'a a nice match. These scope were the buy of the centry at $249!

I was not shopping for a scope at the time and by the time I realized what a deal was out there, I had missed it.

I picked up one of each.Put the 1.5-4.5x24 on my DPMS LR308 and it is perfect for what I wanted the rifle for.Very fast and good to 100 yards easy.

In short,
Great glass, excellent tracking and repeatability, very heavy optic. If I was in need of another scope and did not want to pay the $$ for a Leupold MK IV or better, I would purchase another Weaver without hesitation.

I started with this one on a Bushmaster, but am switching it to an older Colt HBAR, for use as a deer hunting rifle this fall. With this scope, its not difficult to pop paint cans at 250+ yards. The Weaver Classic Extreme seems to be equal in quality to my Leupold 1.5-5X, which is a 30mm scope with the same German #4 reticle.

I bought one for an RRA. I should have bought more. Very good scope. Great price, I think I paid about $270.00. The Elite 4200s were also a very good value @$249.00 for the 3x9x40. I bought one of those too.

By the time I saw these they were out of stock.I have seen a couple that others had bought and what a great scope for a bargin price. I ended up paying much more for the Leupold 1.5-5 circle dot and have been more than happy but sure would have liked to pick up one of the Weavers.
